Manali to Srinagar bike trip via Leh Ladakh is one of the most adventurous motorcycle trips in India. Every year thousands of riders across the globe travel to these mountains to explore the most rugged terrains of Himalayas. In these 12 days Manali – Leh- Srinagar motorbike trip one will enjoy the real beauty of Trans Himalayas Mountains ranging from 3000Mtrs to 5300Mtrs. We will start our Motorbike trip from Manali by covering Leh –Manali highway, newly built Atal Tunnel, and reach Leh after 3 days. After exploring Worlds Highest Motorable road, World famous Pangong Tso Lake, Coldest desert Nubra valley, Kargil War memorial, and many other attractions of Leh Ladakh we further proceed towards exploring the Srinagar-Leh highway via Kargil, Drass, Zoji La pass and Sonamarg before finally we reach Srinagar.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 - Delhi to Manali by Volvo or by Private Vehicle

Upon arrival at New Delhi, we will provide you with the pickup point from where we will start our Bus Journey to Manali.

Our crew member will meet you at the pickup point and help you to get into the bus. Get ready for the long overnight journey from Delhi to Manali.

It’s a 530Kms distance which may take 13-15 hours to reach Manali.

Day 2 - Manali Rest Day

On the 2nd day of the Leh Ladakh Bike trip, you will reach Manali in the morning; our crew member will pick you up from the bus stop and drop you to the hotel. You will meet our Ride captain or Tour leader in the evening for briefing, Introduction to your motorcycles, riding gears scrutiny, Safety measures, and other important aspects of the tour followed by dinner. You need to take ample rest today so that you can get acclimatize soon. Manali is at the height of 2050Mtrs ASL.

Day 3 - Manali to Sarchu

Kilometers - 175

Today you will be riding for the first time on the Leh Ladakh bike trip, soon after the breakfast, we will saddle up for one of the most Adventurous Motorcycle Tours in the world. We will ride out of the Manali town and reach Solang valley road at Dundhi village, it’s the starting point of “Atal Tunnel” which is the world's longest high-altitude road tunnel at the height of 3000Mtrs above sea level, a total distance of the tunnel is about 9Kms, after that, we will reach Telling village which is the other side of the tunnel on Manali-Leh highway. Today we will cross Baralachala Pass before reaching Sarchu; Baralachala pass is at the height of 4890Mtrs ASL. Sarchu is at the height of 14000ft and oxygen level is always differing from low altitude areas.

Day 4 - Sarchu to Leh

After an early breakfast, we will start our ride towards Leh, which is the main destination on the Ladakh Motorcycle trip. The journey from Sarchu to Leh is quite challenging because we will be crossing Gata loops, Nakeela Pass, Lachungla Pass, Moore Plains, and Tanglanga La pass before reaching Leh. So it will easily take around 8-10 hours to reach Leh from Sarchu. So be ready for the longest journey of Leh Ladakh bike tour. By evening we will be able to reach Leh, Leh is located at the height of 3500Mtrs ASL.

Day 5 -  Leh Rest Day

After 2 days of grueling ride on the Delhi to Leh bike trip, finally, we have reached Leh. Since Leh is located at the height of 3500Mtrs ASL, it is very important for each one of you to have enough rest to get acclimatize for the upcoming days. No motorcycles will be provided today since we will need time to maintain the bikes for the next days of adventure travel.

Day 6 - Leh to Pangong Tso Lake

Kilometers - 160

Soon after the breakfast, we will start our ride towards Pangong Tso Lake, before that we will cross multiple check post where we need to submit our restricted area permits and inner line permits. Before reaching Pangong Tso we need to cross Changla Pass, which is the 3rd highest motorable road in the world at the height of 5360Mtrs ASL. By early evening we will reach Spangmik village which is at the banks of Pangong Tso Lake. We will be staying at tented accommodation today. Pangong Lake is located at the height of 4225Mtrs ASL.

Day 7 - Pangong Tso Lake to Nubra Valley

Kilometers - 175

After spending a night at the banks of Pangong Lake, we will start our 7th day of the Ladakh Motorbike trip towards Nubra Valley. Nubra valley is situated at the height of 3000Mtrs ASL and it’s the coldest desert in the entire Himalayas. Most of the road today will be off-road since we will be riding through Shyok Valley. We will reach Hunder by evening; if we have time during the evening we will visit Hunder Sand Dunes and spend some time over there.

Day 8 - Nubra Valley to Leh

Kilometers - 135

We will leave Hunder after breakfast and head towards Diskit Monastery, Diskit Monastery is the oldest monastery in Nubra valley also it has a statue of Maitreya Buddha. Post that we will start ascending towards Khardungla Top, which is the World’s Highest Motorable Road at the height of 18380Ft ASL. Since the Khardungla pass is the main attraction on Delhi to Leh Motorbike trip, we will spend some time and then starts to descend towards Leh. By early evening we will reach Leh and rest of the day you can enjoy roaming at Leh Bazaar and buy some souvenirs.

Day 9 - Leh Local Sightseeing

Kilometers - 150

Today will be a leisure ride; we will start exploring the sightseeing places in and around Leh. After breakfast we will visit Magnetic Hill, then Likir Gompa, and later Alchi Monastery, by early evening we will back to Leh and rest of the evening you can spend on visiting Shanti Stupa.

Day 10 - Leh to Kargil

Kilometers - 220

After exploring one of the greatest creations of Mother Nature we will start our return journey on the Leh Ladakh Bike trip towards Srinagar, we will ride from Leh to Kargil today and you will be surprised to ride on this road since 90% of the journey is covered with tarmac, so be ready to cruise on control. We will cross Fotu La before reaching Kargil, which is the highest point between Srinagar-Leh Highway at the height of 4100Mtrs ASL. By evening we will reach Kargil and rest for the day.

Day 11 - Kargil to Srinagar

Kilometers - 205

It will be the last ride day of the Delhi – Leh – Delhi bike trip; we will start our ride towards Manali, we will ride through Rohtang pass, it is situated at the height of 3980Mtrs ASL. By evening we will reach Manali. After dropping off the bikes we all meet again for farewell dinner.

Day 12 - Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, you will be checked out from the hotel and we will drop you to the airport towards your onward journey.  

What is included?

  • Royal Enfield 500cc motorcycle with fuel for the entire trip as per the itinerary (Bikes will not be provided for personal use during the tour).

  • Accommodation on twin/double sharing basis (Hotels/Camps/Guest House).

  • Breakfast and Dinner (Set Menu meals, Starts from Dinner on Day 2 from Manali and Ends with Breakfast on Day 12 in Srinagar).

  • Dedicated Tour leader for the whole tour as per the itinerary.

  • Mechanic for the entire tour as per the itinerary.

  • A backup vehicle for Luggage (Based on the group size we will provide a backup vehicle, either it will be Bolero/Xylo/Innova/Tempo Traveller).

  • One Helmet and Basic Riding gloves (Both helmets & Gloves are used ones, we recommend each rider to carry their riding gears).

  • Delhi to Manali Volvo Tickets.

  • Portable oxygen cylinders during the entire tour.

  • Inner line permits and Restricted area permit for the Ladakh region.

  • All Sightseeing places entrance and parking fees.

  • GST @ 5% is included.

What is excluded?

  • All your international and Domestic flight tickets.

  • Visa charges.

  • Medical or travel insurance.

  • Personal Damages/accidental damages cost to the motorcycle is not included (Client has to pay for any damages that happened during the tour).

  • Alcohol, tips, room service, or anything which is not mentioned in the above inclusions.

  • Lunch or any other meals which are not mentioned in the inclusions.

  • The cost of riding gears like Jacket, Boots, Riding Pants, etc is not included.

  • For any extra cost arising due to weather conditions, local disturbance, etc, the client has to pay the cost of extra days on the spot.
